Danu Aquatics provides training services in recreation, aquatics, and emergency care. Through partnerships with community organizations, we are able to serve the certification needs of Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Tennessee, Kentucky, and North Carolina.

Why Danu Aquatics?
Our owner
Elizabeth Coberly is an experienced trainer who creates an enthusiastic and comfortable environment. She has a passion for aquatics that has enhanced her teaching for over 20 years. Some of the organizations she has instructor certification with include the National Swimming Pool Foundation, the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross, and the National Recreation Park Association. Outside of class, Elizabeth uses her passion for recreation and folklore to collaborate with young professionals and conduct research into our identity in the natural world. She has presented at multiple conferences including the Appalachian Studies Association, the American Folklore Society, and the International Conference on Space Place and the Environment. She chose the name Danu Aquatics in reference to the Celtic Goddess of Wisdom and Water.
